The contest can be participated by kids from grammar schools and corresponding middle or junior high school grades (1 to 9).
Contestants can compete alone or in a team of two members, which have to be immutable during the course of the contest.
The contest will have 16 tasks, each 14 day one task. Students have 14 days to solve one task.
The contest categories are divided according to the age of the contestant and the used programming tool.
Category A - students of 1. - 5. grades, using Baltie 3.7
Category B - students of 6. - 9. grades from grammar schools and corresponding middle or junior high school grades, using Baltie 3.7
Category C - students of 1. - 9. grades from grammar schools and corresponding middle or junior high school grades, using Baltie 4 C#.
The decision of to which category the contestant belongs is done from the age of the older student. The contestant can enroll just in to one category.
Tasks for each category can be common or different for each category.
Rating of the programs will be much like on another Baltie contests - the jurors will take into consideration
if the program works in required way, efficiency of the solution and program lucidity, eventually the graphic design.
There will be one common coefficient for efficiency and lucidity, ranging
1 - 2, which will multiply the given points so the contestant can gain
twice as much of his/her points.
As usual,
the contestants are not allowed to use non-original images and sounds! Images and sounds used in the programs must either come from Baltie or be contestant's original work.
The tasks will be rated after each round's end. The jurors will alternate in rating.
If you have any exceptions against the jury, e.g. your program has not been rated,

Number of contestants - request for help with rating
The number of contestants is limited only by the number of the jurors. So we ask those teachers whose students will participate in the contest to help us rate the programs.
We will certainly need help from schools with more than 5 contestants.
